It was all going great, and I went below sixty… Then I was cheating! Figs, fruit salads, salty and caramel popcorn, the list goes on…. Add to it peanut butter and bananas (not once but twice).. When I was eating it, I noticed something was not normal. I was trying to get some satisfaction from my sandwich and the bananas.. It was very weird.. I wondered why was I doing this? Only to realize that I was dealing with a very stressful and exhausting event that I would have to face soon.

Once I knew what was causing my behaviour, I decided I will not let stress take control over me.
I went back to Krystel. We talked. She listened. I had put back 1.5 kg
It’s Not That Bad After All

I am on a new diet now for a week. No “labneh”. I have 1 white cheese breakfast, and the remaining days it’s either a kiwi (or a grapefruit) or 3 eggs (1 egg with 2 whites), or 5 slices of turkey breast, or “zaatar”. For lunch I have a variation of meat, chicken or fish with vegetables, and for dinner, I have to have the kiwi 3 times a week.

We’re on day 5 and I have been following almost strictly. So we will see.
The lesson: Stress can wreck your health and your weight. You have to realize it first, and then learn how to deal with it. It’s not easy, but don’t let it take control over your life. Beat it!
