Veronica Etro: “I Call It A Nomadic Garden, With Gypsies”
This Etro collection is very feminine, inspired from the world of ballet, dance, and theatre. It’s about free spirit, movement, and a blossoming lightness.
The Paisleys on fabric from the 19th century archives have been redesigned as blossoming florals. Light was very important, so a very different technique of printing was used this season, where you print and at the end you get a silver effect; it gives a sort the iridescent feeling.
The Shoes: The woman in this Etro collection is a gypsy, a ballerina, a nomad. She walks a lot, and she has to be comfortable. She wears flats only, no heels. It gives a feeling of strength, with feet on the ground.
In this collection you could also find little brassieres, tops, and layered pieces.
To Get The Look: Flower print dress with lace and ruffles; add a bomber jacket and accessorize with a silk choker.
