Georges Chakra Couture Brings Back Verona’s Opera House Magic and Glamour
For his Couture Automne/Hiver 24-25 Collection, Georges Chakra drew his inspiration from a past visit to the Opera in Verona, which translated into a dramatic and rich collection in an opulent rich palette of mainly deep browns, chartreuse, royal blue and bold red.
The couture collection featured oversized coats and sweeping trains to add grandeur and drama, detailed beadwork, and rich hand embroidery by skilled artisans elevating each piece to the next level.
His dresses were in silk, chiffon, velvet and lace, but he also introduced new creative materials such as faux cuir ajouré, dressage de tulle with rose gold rings, raffia fringe and more.
