...And Many Other Designers Too!
Yes, this is not the first time bras have taken centre stage on the runway, but it seems that all designers and brands want you to try your bra as a top, including Fendi! We saw them in different shapes and materials like lace, silk, crochet, denim, and even sequins.
That said, wearing a bra as a top doesn’t mean wearing lingerie. Choose one that is not see-through and that covers you adequately. Refrain from overly sexy ones and try to keep it as simple as possible.
Wear it with a pencil skirt (Michael Kors, Miu Mix, and Moschino), a ball puff skirt (Roberto Cavalli), under a suit (Fendi and Etro), a blazer or a duster (Etro), denim, and cargo pants. It also looks good with high-waisted pants (Alberta Ferretti), cargo pants, or jeans (Dolce & Gabbana) ….
If you don’t feel comfortable with a bra, try a bandeau top (Max Mara or tie a scarf instead (Versace) and make it as wide as you want. We have also seen bras or bustiers worn over button down shirts or t-shirts (Brunello Cucinelli).
