Jennifer Lopez stole the show at the Met Gala 2024 in her Schiaparelli couture dress designed by Daniel Roseberry. The custom-made creation pays homage to Elsa Schiaparelli's obsession with the butterfly, the surrealist embodiment of metamorphosis.
Four enlarged butterfly wings inspired the shape of the strapless sheath gown in illusion tulle with draping. The dress is all hand-embroidered with warm sliver pearls, rhinestones, and 2 ,500 000 silver foul bugles and beads. It took over 800 hours of work.
Co- host Jennifer Lopez completed her look with Tiffany & Co jewelry. She chose a necklace, earrings, bracelet, and a ring in platinum and yellow gold with diamonds and a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock Ring.
