How To Add Freckles?
For years, we have been hiding everything on our skin, not showing freckles or imperfections. This summer, freckles are cool! It keeps your character, your traits. It’s part of your personality. No one wants that thick foundation anymore. The trick is to upgrade what you have, enhance your features. You can always use a lot of make up to create a new personality, but really, this season, we prefer to see the person behind the make up.
To add freckles, celebrity make up artist Tom Pêcheux likes using a brown eye pencil and dotting them with very small and light touches, so they look natural.
Another way to add freckles is like Charlotte Tillburry does. She prefers to use a lip liner in a brown nude colour that she dabs across the nose, where the sun would naturally hit you. Her advice? “If you get it too strong, pat it out with your finger.”
